Hans and Anita van de Ven have been the managers/owners of Bark Products Taranaki since July 2000. Together with the staff at BPT they aim to deliver high quality products and excellent service. In 2002 the company was moved to a new, specially designed and constructed site in Waitara. The design and layout of this site encompasses all the requirements to  produce top quality products:

All products are stored on a hard surface ensuring they are clean and weed-free.

The site is easily accessible for trucks of all sizes, from small trucks to the biggest truck and trailer units.

You can arrange your own transport or we can organise delivery for you. This may be by one of our own trucks (if local) or, for bigger loads and/or outside the province, using national trucking companies.

Our products are competitively priced and we take pride in giving our customers the best price available.

Bark Products Taranaki consists of:

1. Wholesale (Bark Products Taranaki)

We sell our full range of products, both bulk and bagged, to nurseries, councils, garden centres, landscapers, commercial orchid growers and orchid societies. Our wholesale customers are located New Zealand wide and are also from a variety of international locations such as Japan, the U.S.A (incl. Hawaii) and New Caledonia.

2. Retail (the Bark Express)

Through our retail branch we sell products direct to the public in bulk.
We deliver our products for free in the New Plymouth, Inglewood, Urenui and Waitara areas, and for a small charge upto Tariki and Oakura. For deliveries further afield we can organize the delivery for all our customers.

How to find us:

Coming from the North, to Brixton, you will come to Raleigh Street on your right. Turn into Raleigh Street, follow till the 50 km sign. After the 50 km sign, take the 4th road on your left. This is Mould Street. Go to the end of Mould Street and turn left into Norman Street. Follow this road to the end and we are up a small hill at the end of the road. You can see our yellow office!

Coming from New Plymouth, turn left into Raleigh Street and follow directions as coming from the North.

We are open from 8.00 am till 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.
